Hello everyone,
deviantART has given me the opportunity to perform two Community Volunteer positions here:
I am the Science Fiction and Space Art Community Volunteer.
I am also now the new 3 Dimensional Art Community Volunteer.
One of the duties of these positions is that I can feature artwork from these categories as Daily Deviations.
I browse through these categories daily in search of deviations to feature as Daily Deviations.
This feature is to help the artist and their work gain more exposure,  and it's genre and/or medium gains more community awareness as well.
But I need your help.

How to make a great Journal feature!
This article has been written for #projecteducate by `miontre.
Featuring other artists in your Journal is a great thing to do, because everyone wins! Not only are you supporting other artists by giving them some extra exposure, but you can also earn some exposure for yourself and make new friends too. Additionally, those who view your feature have the opportunity to find some new art and artists. :D
Therefore, it pays to make your Journal features the best they can be. Making a really good Journal feature can involve a lot of time and work - planning, collecting artwork, arranging the artwork in a Journal, publication, and promotion. Taking these steps instead of merely dragging in thumbs from your Favourites will result in an appealing and rewarding Journal feature. In this tutorial, we're going to produce a feature with images arranged like this:

PE: Daily Deviations - The Myth and the LegendDaily Deviations, or DDs . . . for some deviants, receiving one is the epitome of awesomesauce in the deviantART world. For others, they are a nice way to show off the work of lesser-known artists. Still others treat them as a special way to bring attention to great art that exemplifies works being done by a particular gallery or community.
Perhaps because there are so many different ways of conceptualizing DDs, there are also many myths and misconceptions. I would like to address some of those myths by responding to the ones most frequently heard. Please note that these opinions are mine and reflect my experiences with the photomanipulation community, but perhaps they will be informative nevertheless.

What is #projecteducate?
#projecteducate is an education project here on deviantART, conceived back in mid-late 2007 by `MistressWit. She made the first plans towards the beginning of the group. However, life got very busy for her - so she couldn't visit deviantART very often. Six months later, `shell4art followed her plans and officially launched #projecteducate! [1] Today, #projecteducate is one of deviantART's official projects. It is currently being overseen by the wonderful ^Kaz-D. :)

Aww thank you for including #The-Stock-Directory in your list! :D It has two sister groups with which we have been trying to straighten out some of the muddle in the Stock community. #Stock-For-Premades is focused on creating a safe haven for those who want legitimate resources to create premade backgrounds. :devsafe-stock-resource: is an effort on behalf of the stock community to feature stock providers who are committed to providing safe and legitimate resources and following :devart: terms and guidelines. It was designed to make those who care about our community stand out from all of the celebrity 'stock' images and whatnot. :D
